International Shipments: Duties and Taxes

  1. Responsibility for Duties and Taxes
For international orders, the recipient (consignee) is responsible for paying any applicable duties and import taxes upon delivery. These charges are not included in the order total and must be paid directly to Customs when the package is received1.
  2. Calculating Import Duty
The amount of customs duty depends on the tariff policies of the destination country. International shipments are sent via USPS First Class, and the duty amount is determined by the recipient country’s customs regulations. To minimize potential duties, we typically declare an invoice value between 20and150 and mark the package as a gift1.
  3. Reducing Import Tax
If you have specific requirements for the declared invoice value, contact us at [email protected]. We will adjust the declared value according to your instructions. If no specific instructions are provided, we declare a value between 20and150 based on the package’s weight and size1.
  4. Customs Clearance Issues
If your package encounters customs clearance issues, we will:

Cover the customs clearance fees.
Provide you with the shipping invoice to present to Customs.
Assist by contacting USPS to help resolve the situation1.
